Bolivia has a lot to offer to any cyclist. In fact it has the most challenging routes imaginable to cycle on a bicycle such as crossing the sandy Altiplano or the biggest salt lake in the world (Salar de Uyuni). Gabriel and I have cycled some of these challenging routes, sticking to the Andes along the Chilean/ Bolivian border. See our reports listed below:

Beach on 'Isla del Sol'By the way, if you are a beach bum and do not like mountains, it is no reason not to come to Bolivia....  just relax at a Bolivian beach on 'Isla del Sol' and sip your beer and watch the fish in the crystal clear water.
